During the festival weekend, nearly 7,500 foreign guests paid with the “Revolut” card in Vilnius, 7% more than the previous weekend, when the city also had plenty of events, and even 16% more than the weekend of May 15-17. Foreign guests spent 14% more in Vilnius last weekend than on other May weekends.
The festival attracted mostly guests from neighboring countries to the capital – Latvian spending more than doubled (112%), and Vilnius received 76% more visitors from Latvia last weekend than on other May weekends. Poles spent 33% more in Vilnius, and the number of visitors grew by 29%. The bank also recorded noticeable spending jumps among guests from Italy (+57%) and Ireland (+42%).

The largest spending growth compared to other May weekends was recorded in Vilnius restaurants and cafes (6%), and payment volumes in bars and nightclubs increased by almost a fifth (18%). The increased flow of foreign guests is also shown by 17% higher spending in hotels and accommodation facilities, and transport spending grew by 5%.
