The conclusion prepared by the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport for the Seimas, which was approved by the Cabinet of Ministers this week, states that “the requirements for obtaining secondary education should not be excessive or limit a young person’s further learning or career choice”.

As BNS wrote, according to the social democratic group’s project, it is proposed to abandon the provision that secondary education is acquired by completing a secondary education program and passing three state maturity exams: Lithuanian language and literature and two other knowledge tests chosen by the student.
