The pre-trial investigation was initiated on the evening of August 21, 2025, when police officers in Skuodas district stopped a BMW car driven by a 31-year-old man. During the inspection, he behaved suspiciously and was nervous.
During a partial personal search, a plastic bag with cannabis and four bags with cocaine were found in his underwear.
It was established that on the same day in Kretinga, he purchased the aforementioned narcotic substances – more than 11 grams of cocaine and no less than 9.5 grams of cannabis – from another accused for 1,300 euros. The man transported them by car to Skuodas district, where police officers found and seized them.
Continuing the pre-trial investigation, it was established that the resident of Kretinga had acquired no less than 41 grams of cocaine and about 40 grams of cannabis from an unidentified person.

It is suspected that he sold part of these narcotic substances to a resident of Skuodas district, while the remaining ones were found and seized by officers during searches in his car and place of residence.
The 31-year-old man was charged under Article 260, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Lithuania, and the 30-year-old man under Article 260, Part 2. For these criminal acts, the law provides for imprisonment of 2 to 8 years and 8 to 10 years, respectively.
