„Biovela Group“ requests permission to acquire „Idavang“ and part of the shares of its eight biogas companies

The Competition Council announced that it has received a request from “Biovela Group” to acquire up to 92% of “Idavang” shares and indirectly, through it, 17.5% of the shares of “Psenergija”, “Lenergija”, “Senergita”, “Menergija”, “Nenergija”, “Jenergija”, “Venergija” and “Zenergija”, and together with the construction company “GG Biogas LTU” to gain joint control over them.

According to the council, “Biovela Group” unites modern meat processing companies, and its management company of the same name is engaged in consulting business and other management activities.
