When trading started, the capital’s club released a statement on Friday emphasizing that “tickets for this event cannot be purchased using a bank card.”
“Only through the banking system (‘Bank Link’),” adds Vilnius “Žalgiris”, explaining that such measures were taken “for security reasons”.
As club representatives clarified to the portal 15min, they want to avoid a situation where “Hajduk” tickets are purchased in other places – in sectors not designated for them.
Knowing the activity of the Split club’s fans – their famous supporters group “Torcida” is considered the oldest such group in all of Europe (founded in 1950) – there are concerns that without the mentioned restriction, ensuring safety in the stadium might be difficult.
“Hajduk” fans will be allocated 5% of the seats – 250 tickets. This is the amount allowed according to UEFA rules. Opposing fans will be located in the RE sector.
The UEFA Conference League third qualifying round match between “Žalgiris” and “Hajduk” clubs in Vilnius will take place in a week – on August 6.
As “Žalgiris” announces, season ticket holders can purchase tickets first (on the website kakava.lt). They also receive a 30% discount by entering the card code.
Public ticket sales will start on August 3 at 12 PM.
“Žalgiris” also reminds that children under 6 years old enter free (without occupying a separate seat), and youth under 18 and seniors get a 70% discount (selectable when added to the ticket cart).

Having won a solid bonus, “Žalgiris” learned their next opponent in Europe
The Croatian club, ten times wealthier (“Hajduk” budget is about 50 million euros, “Žalgiris” about 5 million), is considered the clear favorite of the pair, but the Vilnius team has already created one miracle when on Thursday they crushed Tbilisi “Dinamo” 7:2 and erased a 3-goal deficit.
To reach the main stage of the Conference League, four qualifying rounds must be overcome.
