A sad message appeared on the social network “Facebook,” on the Vilnius Small Theatre account.
“The State Vilnius Small Theatre announces that former theatre employee, costume designer Irena Tarailaitė, has passed away.
Having started her service to the theatre in 1984 at the State Academic Drama Theatre, when the Vilnius Small Theatre was established, Irena joined it from the first days and dedicated 15 years.
We express our sincere condolences to the family and relatives. The Vilnius Small Theatre community thanks Irutė for her many years of work, contribution, and dedication to the theatre,” the published post reads.

The post also revealed details about the farewell to Irena.
“On July 31, Friday, at 7 p.m., Holy Mass will be held at the Church of Divine Providence (Gerosios Vilties St. 17, Vilnius).
Farewell to Irena can be made on August 1, Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Riešė Funeral Home (Molėtų St. 4a, Didžioji Riešė, Vilnius district municipality). At 2 p.m., the urn will be escorted to the Didžioji Riešė cemetery,” the post states.
