This year, the entire section in Giruliai falls under the lifeguard-supervised area.
The total length of the six city beaches is 7.27 kilometers. The largest of them is the first Smiltynė beach, which stretches 2.3 kilometers along the Baltic Sea; in the First and Second Melnragė, their lengths are 1.5 and 1.32 kilometers respectively.

This year, the sections and sizes of separate beaches designated for men, women, and nudists have not changed; small sections remain in Smiltynė and the First Melnragė where visitors are allowed to bring pets.
