The guard of the Pravieniškės 1st Prison of the Lithuanian Prison Service (LKT) reported that on August 18, 2026, by the set time – until 8:00 PM – Antanas Visockis, born in 1986, sentenced to open prison, did not return from a short-term leave to the clinic “Unomeda,” located at V. Putvinskio St. 50, Kaunas, to the place of sentence execution. A search for him has been announced, LKT reported.

The Kaunas County Chief Police Commissariat also informs about the essence of the initiated criminal case: on August 18 at 8:00 PM, the sentenced person (guard) (born 1986) did not return to the Lithuanian Prison Service Pravieniškės Correctional Facility. The Lithuanian Prison Service is conducting a search for the sentenced person. A pre-trial investigation has been initiated under Article 242 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Lithuania.
