In Lithuania on Tuesday morning, compared to Monday, the average prices of diesel, gasoline, and LPG increased by 4.39%, 4.74%, and 0.79% respectively after several days of oil price surge due to intensified military actions in the Middle East.

Companies selling fuel in Lithuania provide LEA with information about the prices of fuels sold at their gas stations every working day by 10 a.m. The submitted prices are published on the website ena.lt. Prices at gas stations are changed several times a day.

Data on fuel prices received from gas stations by 10 a.m. on July 28 show that the lowest diesel price was at the gas station owned by Raimondas Balsys’ individual enterprise in Kelmė district municipality (Ramučiai village) – 1.820 Eur/l.

The highest diesel price was at the gas station operated by UAB “Žibalas” – 2.17 Eur/l.

Diesel prices at gas stations on Tuesday morning ranged from 1.820 Eur/l to 2.170 Eur/l, with the average diesel price reaching 2.069 Eur/l, or 4.39% more than on Monday (July 27), when it was 1.982 Eur/l.

The lowest gasoline price on Tuesday morning was at the “Emsi” network gas station in Lazdijai district municipality (Janaslavas village) – 1.659 Eur/l.

The highest gasoline price was at the “Žibalas” gas station in Jonava – 1.950 Eur/l.

Gasoline prices at gas stations on Tuesday morning ranged from 1.659 Eur/l to 1.950 Eur/l, with the average gasoline price amounting to 1.857 Eur/l, or 4.74% more than on Monday (July 27), when it was 1.773 Eur/l.

The lowest LPG price on Tuesday morning was at the “Bonsa” gas station in Tauragė district municipality (Taurai) – 0.660 Eur/l.

The highest LPG price was at two “Circle K” network gas stations (Raseiniai district municipality and Šilalė district municipality) – 0.929 Eur/l.

LPG prices at gas stations on Tuesday morning ranged from 0.660 Eur/l to 0.929 Eur/l, with the average LPG price reaching 0.768 Eur/l, or 0.79% more than on Monday (July 27), when it was 0.762 Eur/l.

The wholesale gasoline price in Lithuania on July 27 was 1.65 Eur/l, and the wholesale diesel price was 1.91 Eur/l (on July 24, the wholesale gasoline price was 1.67 Eur/l, and the wholesale diesel price was 1.95 Eur/l).

The Brent oil price on the market on July 28 was 84.18 USD/bbl (July 27 – 88.36 USD/bbl).
