On Monday, Tauragė Police Department shared on their own Facebook page that during the night from August 12 to 13, in the Šilutė district, Traksėdžiai village, the police received a report about a dangerous incident.
A 21-year-old man brought a 36-year-old intoxicated man home (the latter was later found to have a blood alcohol content of 2.55‰). But the story did not end there.
After some time, the intoxicated man left the house with a knife and began chasing the driver who had brought him home. Soon he openly took possession of his car, an Audi A6, and fled.
Police officers immediately started searching for the vehicle, following hot leads, and soon the suspect was detained.
