The facility located in the southern city of Skarżysko-Kamienna belongs to the company “WB Electronics,” which manufactures components for drones used by the Polish and Ukrainian armed forces.

According to unofficial reports cited by the Polish news portal “Onet,” video surveillance cameras captured a man with a covered face inside the building during the incident.
The Polish Internal Security Agency is working on site.
There were no employees in the building during the fire, as the factory was not operating at that time. After the firefighting work was completed, the area was taken over by the police, conducting a broad operational investigation. The local police station representative, Chief Commissioner Anna Slawinska, confirmed that various scenarios are being considered, including arson.
The representative of the Minister-Coordinator of Special Services, Jacek Dobrzynski, emphasized that all collected information is being analyzed and an attempt to rule out possible sabotage is underway. “We take this case very seriously,” he noted to TVN24.
“WB Electronics” factory belongs to “WB Group” – the largest private arms company in Poland. It manufactures, among other things, composite structures and control elements for drones, including systems such as “FlyEye” and “Gladius.” Production has been operating since October 2022.
Four military factories attempted to be blown up in Europe within a month

The Slovak police recently prevented an attempt to set fire to a drone factory. According to law enforcement data, two individuals suspected of planning sabotage were detained in Slovakia, and another in Germany. No casualties or damage occurred.
About 70 employees worked at the facility, and the value of the assets in the workshop was tens of millions of euros. Officials confiscated a flammable mixture, tools, mobile phones, a video camera, and a plan.

It was determined that the seized liquid was a flammable mixture based on petroleum products – napalm. The pre-trial investigation continues.
The news portal “Dennikn” reported that the target was the drone factory of the Ukrainian company “Skyeton” in the city of Prešov. Its office in Kyiv was already destroyed during a Russian attack in May 2026.
Several incidents have already occurred in Europe at companies involved in supplying weapons to Ukraine. On August 15, a building used by the Estonian company “Milrem Robotics” was set on fire in Tallinn, notes “The Moscow Times.” It manufactures military robotics and supplies systems to Ukraine.
Later, three citizens of Latvia were detained, suspected of organizing the arson. Estonian authorities are investigating a possible Russian connection to this event.
On August 13, a powerful explosion occurred at the “KNDS Ammo Italy” factory in Colleferro, near Rome. The company belongs to the defense holding KNDS, which supplies weapons to Ukraine. The factory near Rome produces ammunition for land and naval forces. A subsidiary, “KNDS Ukraine,” operates in Kyiv, cooperating with the Ukrainian defense industry.
The fourth incident was recorded on August 10. A fire broke out on the premises of the EMCO company near the village of Belitsa in Bulgaria. About 300 employees were evacuated. EMCO belongs to Bulgarian arms industry magnate Emilian Gebrev. His companies have been supplying weapons to Ukraine since 2014. The causes of the fire in the ammunition warehouse are under investigation.
