Local residents reported the fire shortly after 5 a.m. when black smoke began to rise over the area, located in the northeast of the Polish capital.

A spokesman for the State Fire Service reported that by 8 a.m. almost 40 fire brigades were fighting the fire, adding that it was not yet known whether there were people in the building. He also noted that the source of the fire had not yet been determined, according to TVP World.
According to the fire service, the entire 3,200 square meter Ford showroom and car workshop, as well as more than a dozen cars parked outside the building, were on fire.

A chemical rescue team was involved in the rescue operation, and lifting platforms and reconnaissance drones were also used.
Black smoke was visible several kilometers from the scene on Krasnobrodzka Street, which was cordoned off by police. Local residents are advised to stay away and follow the instructions of the rescue services.
