Firefighters received a report about a car that drove into a pond last Friday at 7:22 AM.
It was reported that a traffic accident occurred in Vilnius, on Helsinki Street – a Volvo car drove into the Buivydžiai pond and is sinking.
“It was reported that while driving from the Justiniškės side, on Helsinki Street, according to the reporter, the car drove into the water and is sinking.

When firefighters arrived, the car was submerged underwater and overturned on its roof. The woman was pulled from the car, handed over to medics, and resuscitated.
The woman’s condition was stabilized, and she was transported to the hospital. Firefighters carried out the car overturning and extraction operations,” said PAGD representative Edita Zdanevičienė.
At 8:30 AM, firefighters pulled the car out of the water. A search was also conducted in the water, but no other victims were found.
