The greatest attention was paid to controlling the permitted driving speed and the traffic safety of electric micro-mobility devices, bicycles, and electric mopeds.
Two drunk drivers were identified during the week – on Saturday at about 16:52
in Klaipėda district, Priekulė, a 1980-born driver of a Ford Galaxy was stopped and found to have 2.76‰ blood alcohol content, and on the same day at about 18:15 in Neringa municipality, on the Smiltynė–Nida regional road, a 1985-born driver of a Porsche Cayenne was found to have 0.43‰ blood alcohol content.
Two cyclists who had consumed alcohol will also not avoid responsibility.
On Sunday at about 01:35 in Klaipėda, Pilies St., a 1977-born man riding an electric scooter was stopped and found to have 2.00‰ blood alcohol content, and on the same day at about 14:50 in Klaipėda district, Dovilai, a 2003-born man also riding an electric scooter was found to have 1.38‰ blood alcohol content.

Another 5 drivers checked by officers were driving without the right to do so, 14
were illegally using mobile communication devices, 9 drivers and 4
passengers were not wearing seat belts, and 3 children were transported unbuckled. Another 3
drivers overtook where it is prohibited, and 32 did not yield
to pedestrians.
Seventeen electric micro-mobility device drivers will face responsibility for not wearing a safety helmet.
A mobile speed meter recorded 511 cases of speeding during the week, and other
means recorded another 84 cases of exceeding the permitted speed.
