A reader who contacted 15min stated that layoffs at “Shift4 Payments Lithuania” are happening in several waves. According to him, the first wave of layoffs began on August 13, and the second on August 17. The reader also said that based on publicly available company data, about 30 people may be laid off.

However, official data from the Employment Service shows a slightly different picture – the service has received a company notification about warning 53 employees of upcoming layoffs.
