As reported, the fire broke out for unknown reasons while the ship was sailing the daily “Blue Tour” route near the bay – this term is often used in Turkey to describe recreational boat trips along coastal bays and coves.

According to reports, the flames spread very quickly on the ship, so people were instructed to put on life jackets and jump into the sea.
Nearby coast guard services and other ships rushed to evacuate the passengers and help rescue people from the water. The rescued passengers were later checked by medical aid teams.
It was reported that there were 115 people on the ship. Among them were 103 passengers, 8 animators, and 4 crew members, according to the Turkish General Directorate of Maritime Transport.
According to it, all passengers were successfully evacuated. Eleven passengers who suffered health problems due to the fire smoke were taken to the hospital by ambulances. It is reported that their health is not in danger.

The Directorate also stated that the fire on the ship was extinguished thanks to the efforts of search and rescue services.

The flames engulfed most of the ship, causing significant damage, and some reports state that the ship later began to sink.
Fatih Akkaya, the governor of the Fethiye district, went to the scene after the incident and stated that no fatalities were reported, confirming that passengers were rescued by coast guard ships and other nearby vessels.
