According to the company director Artūras Jurša, “Pušų Apartments” has become another example that block development can organically complement an already established neighborhood.

“We preserved naturally grown pines, paid a lot of attention to greenery, children’s and recreation areas, convenient communication and infrastructure. Because of these decisions, the block becomes a full-fledged part of the city,” says A. Jurša.
Instead of separate plots – a unified block
Before starting the project, there were several plots belonging to different owners in its place. By merging them, a unified territory was formed.
When designing the block, the aim was to preserve as many naturally grown pines as possible. They provide shade, create privacy zones, and extend the pine forest landscape accompanying Raudondvaris Avenue all the way to the residential area.

The new block is surrounded on one side by apartment buildings, and on the other by individual houses. The territory is protected from the busy avenue by an acoustic fence, and the nearby Lampėdis Lake and bicycle and pedestrian paths provide easy access to both the city center and recreational areas.
More than a million – for infrastructure
Implementing the project, “Centromera” invested about 1.3 million euros in public infrastructure.
With the company’s funds, an entrance to the block was built, main water supply and sewage networks were installed, which were handed over for operation to the company “Kauno vandenys”, a modular electrical transformer station was built, internal roads, pedestrian paths, lighting, green zones, children’s playgrounds, and recreation areas were arranged.

The block has 260 parking spaces and bicycle storage areas.
