This discussion on the TV3 show “KK2 savaitė” gained momentum, with well-known guests sharing their different stories. Some admitted to spending six-figure sums on their weddings, while others said they invited guests to sleep… in tents.
Show hosts Mindaugas Stasiulis and Keitė Arai split into two camps and tried to find out – how much is worth spending on a wedding?
On the side of luxurious weddings, we see opinion leader Ieva Voveris, singer and composer Deivydas Zvonkus, and wedding organizer and host Dainius Palivonas.
Meanwhile, on the side of more modest weddings – future spouses, opera soloists Jonas Sakalauskas and Emilija Finagėjevaitė, and metal leg ambassador Indrė Kručaitė-Čingė.
How much do famous people spend on weddings?
Although weddings are often considered one of the most important life celebrations, the question of how much is worth spending on them sparks debate. I. Voveris prepared for her wedding for two years and spent 150 thousand euros on it.
“If you can afford it, why not? But I never understood those people who take out loans for it,” she revealed her viewpoint.
By the way, she surprised – although it is customary for brides otherwise, Ieva’s wedding dress was one of the cheapest things at her celebration. And the performers had to dig deep – Justė Arlauskaitė-Jazzu, Donatas Montvydas, and even Džordana Bukutė performed at Ieva’s wedding.
“I really wanted SEL, but they talked me out of it,” she said.
Moreover, the woman surprised with an unexpected gesture. She brought her wedding gift to the show and even shared it with the studio guests!

Compared to the amount spent by I. Voveris, the wedding budget of I. Kručaitė-Čingė will seem much more modest. True, although Indrė and her beloved planned to spend 8 thousand, the final amount still rose to 10 thousand. And the guests slept in tents!
“We wanted the wedding to be a festival for us and our friends,” she said.
Moreover, the couple organized the wedding in just three months from the proposal.
“For three months, we really lived the wedding. After work, on weekends, even in dreams it was all about the wedding,” she said.
In turn, D. Zvonkus revealed details of the recently held Stano wedding and offered a simple recipe for those who are still preparing for their weddings. According to the composer, weddings should be such that the thought of a second one would cause… horror.
On the show, Deivydas also recalled Stano’s first wedding, which the friend wanted to keep secret.
“He was still naive and young, and while celebrating, he tried to keep some privacy. I remember that photographers were even climbing trees near the fence. And although it is complete nonsense, I saw it myself in reality,” he said.
But how much is really enough for the celebration to be unforgettable? The exact price was named by wedding organizer and host D. Palivonas.
