H. Rajab’s body was found in a bullet-riddled car in Gaza City a few days after she last called the Palestinian Red Crescent on January 29, 2024.
“Considering the findings and suspected irregularities in coordinating the movement of the Palestinian Red Crescent ambulance, it was decided to initiate a criminal investigation into the incident, which will be conducted by the Military Police Criminal Investigation Department,” the military stated on Wednesday.
