A car that no one will buy: Aidas revealed the highest amount offered for it

This is the sixth one, as Aidas Klimantavičius himself says, his child. They are all different, differently precious, important. Each with its own character, but they all have one similarity – they are all dedicated to Lithuania. “For how much would you sell it?” – hearing this question, Aidas laughs because he has heard it many times. The answer is always the same – the car belongs to all of Lithuania, it is simply priceless. However, Aidas reveals that there were, of course, people interested in buying it.

“For how much would you sell it?” – hearing this question, Aidas laughs because he has heard it many times.

Besides those who just laugh or throw out a casual “for how much,” there were also those who made Aidas a serious offer. The highest amount offered for “Dūsia II” was 350 thousand euros.

Neither this nor any other offer interests Aidas and would not interest him. First and foremost, the man who calls himself a creator insists, – this is dedicated to Lithuania, that’s where it all started.

When asked how the ideas to build exactly such cars come about, Aidas confesses that it is akin to an artistic process. There is not always an idea, nor always material, but when the time is ripe, Aidas devotes himself to it wholeheartedly.

When asked how the idea to build cars with his own hands came about, Aidas answers simply – he has always been like that. He didn’t fit in with everyone else; even in his youth, his bicycle was completely different from others.

People around him and his family, the man does not hide, have told him many times – give up those thoughts, stop and live a normal life. Today, Aidas smiles, everyone is happy, saying – golden hands: “But however much I ‘brought’ to the pawnshop, they don’t take it.”

Aidas’s goal is that the unique cars created by his hands will promote Lithuania. He has already received offers to bring them to Latvia, Italy. He insists that he will travel with them under the Lithuanian flag, and this weekend visitors to the “Auto Expo Vilnius” exhibition will get to know the golden “Dūsia II.”
