He also claimed that Belarus is ready for dialogue with Ukraine.

“We are not seeking war. We want to live peacefully. We want peace,” said the Belarusian leader.

A. Lukashenka reiterated that Belarus is allegedly not an aggressor and will do everything to preserve peace.

“War is a disaster. We don’t need it. We can only win by working peacefully and living in peace,” he said.

Addressing the residents of neighboring countries, A. Lukashenka said: “I want Poles, Lithuanians, and Ukrainians to hear me. We do not want to fight with you. However, if necessary, we are ready to defend you (residents of Belarus).”

Earlier, A. Lukashenka reacted to the statement by Robert Brovdi (Madyar), commander of Ukraine’s drone forces, about 500 targets in Belarus in the event of the country’s possible involvement in the war. The Belarusian leader hinted that in such a case, Minsk could launch a retaliatory strike against Ukraine.
