“The day has come when, after a lot of work, excitement, dreams, and preparation, we can finally say:

CIPOLINO IS NOW OPEN

With great joy, we invite you to a new place in the heart of Palanga. Come and get acquainted, taste, relax, and start this new story together.

J. Basanavičiaus St. 29, Palanga,” – reads the restaurant’s Facebook page.

R. Galvonas already manages other attractions in this resort – the restaurants “Močiučių restoranas” (Grandmothers’ Restaurant) and “Močiučių rezidencija” (Grandmothers’ Residence). So, a group of grandmothers also congratulated him on the new beginning.

“Our Rokutis opened another new place on Basanavičiaus Street. How could the grandmas not go to congratulate him?

Rokutis, just go forward, grandmothers are always with you,” – reads the “Močiučių restoranas” Facebook page.

And in the published video, more wishes fly to R. Galvonas: “Today is a special day for us. We came to congratulate our Rokutis on his new project. May everything go well for him, may God bless him, may everything be delicious and good.”

To this, Rokas replied: “It will be delicious and it will be good. And magical.”

“Some places become more than just a restaurant or a hotel. They become part of memories,” – announced the restaurant owners.

It was also informed that “Senoji Hansa” in the center of Klaipėda will operate as usual, while the restaurant of this name will no longer exist in Palanga.

“This place will continue to live – but with a new name and a new story. We are very happy that all this is being handed over to truly good, loving, and ready-for-new-work hands. Our story in Palanga ends, and you will soon find out who will create a new one here…” – wrote the restaurant representatives.

It soon became clear that R. Galvonas is undertaking a new project in this location – a hotel and restaurant managed by him are opening their doors.

“This is one of the most beautiful buildings on Basanavičiaus Street in Palanga, which truly catches the eye when walking by. Therefore, I am very happy that I will be able to give it a new life, a new face, and a new beginning, which was much needed,” – R. Galvonas rejoices. – “The beloved ‘Senoji Hansa’ will not be left to decay, but will be filled with life, a charismatic spirit, and the hustle and bustle characteristic of a resort.”

The businessman’s plans include a new type of restaurant, where customers will find European cuisine with a mood and flavors characteristic of southern regions. In the evenings, visitors will be delighted by quality instrumental and vocal music and a touch of magic that will be remembered for a long time.

“What I understood working in the catering business is that the client changes quickly. For today’s visitor, it’s no longer enough to get delicious, good food – they need more. This can be a game, live interaction, involvement in unexpected situations, exclusive entertainment. This is exactly what we will do in the new restaurant “Cipolino”,” – R. Galvonas introduces the Italian-sounding name. – “We will delight with emotion, which will be created by both the chefs, the staff, and the artists. I am convinced that this has not yet been seen in Palanga.”
