„The beginning of the weekend will be quite stormy, as a cyclone carrying a lot of moisture will move across Lithuania on Saturday night, so the cloudiness will be high, the sky will be overcast throughout the country and it will rain in many districts,” Paulius Starkus, a meteorologist at the Lithuanian Hydrometeorological Service, told 15min.

In the western part of the country, it will rain continuously and quite intensely. More short-term rains are expected in the east.

According to the meteorologist, thunderstorms will definitely rumble at the beginning of the night, in some places rain clouds will be very intense, and it will rain heavily. During thunderstorms, wind gusts will strengthen up to 15–17 m/s.

On Saturday night, temperatures will range between 11–16 degrees Celsius.

According to the meteorologist, on Saturday, the clouds will be densest in the northeastern part of the country, where it should rain a little until noon. As the day progresses, clearings will increase, only in the northwestern regions short-term rain clouds will form in the afternoon hours, but it should not rain heavily from them.

A moderate westerly wind will blow. Temperatures will rise to 18–23 degrees Celsius during the day.

„On Sunday night, the sky will clear rapidly, and by the second half of the night, it should be partly cloudy throughout the country, mostly clear in many places. The wind will completely calm down, and fog will form in wetter areas,” said P. Starkus.

On Sunday night, temperatures will drop to 6–11 degrees Celsius.

On Sunday, cumulus clouds will rise into the sky; the day will be dry in the northeastern part, while short-term rains are expected in southwestern Lithuania, where thunderstorms may also rumble.

Temperatures will range between 21–26 degrees Celsius, and it will be a couple of degrees cooler in the Curonian Spit.

On Monday night, it will rain briefly in the southwestern part of the country. Temperatures at night will range between 11–16 degrees Celsius.

„During the day, cumulus clouds will rise into the sky, from which short rains are expected in many areas in the second half of the day, in some places it will rain more intensely, and thunderstorms may rumble in some areas,” said the meteorologist.

On Monday, the air will warm up to 20–25 degrees Celsius, while in the western regions, temperatures will remain at 16–19 degrees Celsius.
