“Scientific caution in implementing complex cathedral research is not a delay – it is necessary to evaluate the fact that hasty intervention can destroy no less information than it provides,” said Saulius Sarcevičius, junior research fellow at the Urban History Department of the Lithuanian Institute of History, in a statement from the Government Chancellery.
