I think motherhood is like constant guilt – that you’re doing something or not doing something. It’s important how much and how you allow yourself to live with such guilt, but I try to look at it from the children’s perspective too. Yes, they are small and egocentric, everything has to be good for them – then they will be calm. But, I believe, children would also want their mothers to feel good, so sometimes they think: “Mom, go rest, spend time with a friend, take a breath. Everything will be fine for me, and you’ll feel better.”
