The first meeting with the mother-in-law resembled an exam

Agne and Aušra have been much luckier in this project than other participants, as the women share not only a friendly bond. Agnė is the future daughter-in-law of A. Maldeikienė!

“To be honest, I myself decided to suggest Aušra participate here – it’s fun to spend time with her here. Although, in fact, I was very scared,” says Agnė.

Although the women now get along perfectly, the first meeting between Agnė and Aušra resembled not a calm family gathering during the holidays, but a real exam!

“She started asking me various questions. As if wanting to test the new person, especially a blonde! When I got home, I remember even asking Matas – why did she examine me during the holidays? Today, having gotten to know Aušra better, I can say that I am no longer afraid to answer something wrong because I know she will accept me as I am. Our relationship has completely changed,” Agnė happily shares about her close bond with her mother-in-law.

And today A. Turskienė is convinced that this show will bring them even closer: “I have no doubt about it. How could it be otherwise when I get punished for her wrong answer to the teachers’ question?” (laughs)

Why can’t Agnė resist challenges?

However, Agnė herself is convinced that participating in this project is quite a risky step. After all, anyone can end up last and become the “dumbest in the nation”!

“But life is not about that. I consider myself a good expert in my field and fully accept that I may not know all the other questions that arise in life,” she says.

Moreover, Agnė admits to having a weakness that others find very easy to exploit – she really likes challenges.

“I realized this is one of those moments that if I refuse, I might later watch this show and deeply regret not participating. People often catch me with challenges that I simply cannot refuse,” says A. Turskienė.

According to her, every such experience that forces her out of her comfort zone later gives her a new dose of self-confidence. That is why Agnė is convinced that once she completes this project, nothing will scare her anymore.

What is the biggest paradox in Agnė’s life?..

For some, memories of school are filled only with the best feelings, while for others it is a period full of challenges. And this show made 12 of the country’s most famous celebrities relive all that once again.

“When we first sat in the classroom, I felt like I was back in school – sitting in lessons and not knowing the other classmates. Such an opportunity to relive that feeling probably only comes once,” says A. Turskienė.

And what she fears most in this show is getting questions related to her professional field – cybersecurity.

“I have a natural fear of failing – then it would be a personal defeat. I also don’t want questions about math because I don’t like math. The big paradox of life is that later I chose to go into the profession I understood the least in my life. That is information technology. But I don’t regret it. My advice is – go where you are afraid to go,” shares Agnė.

In the unconventional lessons led by M. Katleris and M. Bartuševičius, a lot depends on what you manage to remember. That is why Agnė tries not to take everything too seriously and just have a good time in this show.

“Winning this title wouldn’t be the most pleasant part, but even if it happened, I would come to terms with it. I just don’t know if I would put this award on a shelf,” she smiles.
