D. Trump noted that the location of the base will likely be announced soon.
“This will be a historic step for our great American and Polish alliance. Thank you for your attention to this matter,” added the US president.
Earlier, Poland’s Deputy Minister of National Defense Stanislaw Wziatek announced that Warsaw is preparing a new military aid package for Ukraine, which will include ammunition for F-16 fighters. The entire defense aid package could be worth 50 million euros.

The statement says that the package includes “air-to-air” type ammunition to be used to destroy drones.
“Our aid is currently being prepared. It will be delivered soon. I cannot say exactly what is included, but I can say one thing – this is what Ukraine needs now. Specifically, we are talking about main ammunition. These are the munitions used in F-16 fighters to shoot down Russian drones,” said S. Wziatek.
