“Last night, during a joint operation by the Ukrainian Security Service, drone forces, Ukrainian military intelligence, and foreign intelligence service, a strike was carried out on the Yaroslavl oil refinery. The Security Service also precisely struck a military airfield in Rostov – it was confirmed that an An-12 aircraft, two An-26s, and three more helicopters were hit,” emphasized V. Zelensky.
The President of Ukraine also noted that good results have been achieved in the Black Sea, but did not provide details.
“We respond to aggression every day. Russia must choose peace,” summarized V. Zelensky.
What happened
As reported on the Telegram channel by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a fire was recorded at the Rostov-on-Don airfield, followed by a detonation.

In addition, a hit and fire were recorded at the “Slavneft-JANOS” oil refinery in the Yaroslavl region of Russia, at the primary oil processing unit AVT-3.
As noted by the General Staff, “Slavneft-JANOS” is one of the largest oil refining enterprises in Russia, belonging to the public joint-stock company “Slavneft.”
Its capacity is about 15 million tons of oil per year. The company carries out the entire refining cycle and produces automotive gasoline, diesel and aviation fuel, fuel oil, bitumen, and other petroleum products.
This company is used to meet the needs of the Russian armed forces.
