I.Ruzveltienė 15min tells that the day before the fateful day, both twins – Arina and her sister Darina – were coughing. Darina’s condition was improving, unlike Arina’s, who had a fever and was constantly coughing. The mother took Arina to the family doctor three times, tests were performed, but according to the mother, they showed nothing serious. Finally, the girl was diagnosed with bronchitis and was sent home for treatment.
However, when her daughter became lethargic, Irina decided not to wait any longer and took her to VUL Santaros Clinics. Suspecting pneumonia, she hoped that the hospital would reveal the true cause of Arina’s worsening condition. A chest X-ray was performed, and the oxygen level in the blood was checked. According to Irina, nothing alarming was noticed at that time, so the mother and daughter were allowed to go home.
