The government allowed changing the boundaries of Kaišiadorys city and nearly 100 villages, one of them – to abolish

With the approval of the Cabinet of Ministers for the proposal of the Ministry of the Interior (VRM), the boundaries of 94 villages and the city of Kaišiadorys will be changed, the village of Obuchovka will be abolished, and Mičiūnai will be renamed Miciūnai.

According to the VRM, the changes are necessary because the boundaries and names of some residential areas do not correspond to the actual situation, which causes uncertainties in determining the location of real estate objects, assigning addresses, and declaring residence.
