“In the Nikopol area, five people were killed and at least seven were injured in a minibus due to an enemy strike. The Russians hit the bus with a drone,” reported Oleksandr Hanža, governor of the Dnipropetrovsk region, on social media.
Nikopol is on the opposite bank of the Dnipro River from the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, which Russian troops have occupied since the very first days of their 2022 invasion.
