Updates are designed for both electric trucks and models with internal combustion engines. The manufacturer has adapted them for various transport tasks and the daily needs of carriers and drivers.

Overall energy consumption has been reduced by about 2%, depending on the truck’s specifications and operating conditions. This is contributed to by exterior modifications that reduce air resistance: digital rearview mirrors, extended side skirts, newly designed front pillars, and door handles. The extended front section complies with the latest vehicle dimension regulations.
Inside the cabin, trim materials, lighting, and seats have been updated, and there is also an option for an 800 mm wide bed with an adjustable backrest. Updated front headlights help improve road visibility, and driver assistance functions make daily work easier. Among practical innovations are a magnetic wireless charger and an external glove hanger.
“We do not take leadership for granted. We must ensure that the solutions we offer continue to be of the highest quality. When creating Scania Dynamic, we focused a lot on the driver’s workplace and lower energy consumption. We continue to improve what has already proven effective,” says Christian Levin, President and CEO of Scania and TRATON Group.
These changes are beneficial regardless of the truck’s drive type: models with internal combustion engines consume less fuel, and electric ones use less electricity. For carriers, this means lower operating costs, more efficient energy use, and reduced emissions.
Digital rearview mirrors reduce air resistance and help better see the surroundings, especially when maneuvering in tight spaces or reversing. The image is displayed on two Full HD screens on the driver and passenger sides. You can choose standard, zoomed, or wide-angle views. The screens also show adjustable vertical orientation lines with distance markings. The camera lenses are installed in a dirt-protected location, and integrated heating prevents fogging, icing, and snow buildup.
The cabin’s color scheme and fabrics have been changed to give the interior a higher quality appearance. Upholstery for beds, rear walls, ceilings, and seats are coordinated. The amount of recycled materials is increasing: curtains are made from 100%, and wall and ceiling panels from 70% recycled raw materials. This aims to use large amounts of textiles more efficiently and reduce environmental impact.
Updated seats meet new safety requirements for headrests, are more ergonomic and comfortable. There is an option for an 800 mm wide bed with a backrest that can be raised up to 60 degrees, allowing the driver to settle comfortably during rest.

Drivers can also choose different cabin lighting – from white work light to the Ambient+ system, offering a wide color palette and themes such as Northern Lights. This allows lighting to be adapted for both work and calmer rest.
“For drivers spending long hours on the road, the cabin is both a workplace and a resting place. With these improvements, we aim to make it more comfortable to work and easier to recover. A comfortable, clearly arranged workplace helps concentration, reduces fatigue, and contributes to safer driving,” says Lars Gustafsson, Senior Vice President of Scania, Head of Solutions Management.
Updated front headlights help better see the road in the dark. High beams shine further, their beam is wider and brighter, and low beam lighting is easier on the eyes. Automatic high beams illuminate the road without dazzling other road users. This reduces tension when driving at night and helps better orientation in turns and when passing oncoming vehicles.
Daily driving is facilitated by a safe stop assistance system, a warning about the distance to obstacles ahead, and a vulnerable road user detection system. These functions assist the driver and reduce stress at the wheel.
Smoother driving is aided by systems that regulate speed according to road signs and in curves. They make truck handling easier in more complex situations, but responsibility still lies with the driver.
Everyday details have also been considered. The magnetic wireless charger charges the phone with 15 W power and holds it firmly. Air circulating under the phone protects it from overheating. An external storage compartment has a glove hanger, so wet or dirty gloves can be left outside the cabin. Thanks to ventilation, they dry faster, and it is easier to keep the cabin clean.

Updated design, technical improvements, and attention to the driver help Scania customers reduce energy consumption and work more efficiently. At the same time, we aim for them to be able to choose the most suitable truck for each task,” summarizes L. Gustafsson.
