More services in one place
The clinic located at Savanorių pr. 225 continues to offer a wide range of services, but their availability and selection have become even greater. Patients at the new clinic can consult with some of the best cardiologists, neurologists, orthopedic-traumatologists, gastroenterologists, and other specialists in Lithuania, and use family medicine, rehabilitation, and dental services. There is also the possibility to register for all radiological examinations: X-ray, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT), computed tomography angiography (CTA), and mammography, which are performed using new and advanced equipment. One of the biggest advantages is that most instrumental and laboratory tests can be done on the same day, ensuring faster diagnostics and convenience for patients.
After moving to the new premises, the clinic’s surgical capabilities have significantly increased. A larger number of operating rooms allows for more and more diverse surgeries and more flexible planning of patient treatment. With the expanded range of services, spinal hernia surgeries have started to be performed at the clinic. Patients staying after surgery are usually accommodated in single rooms with private bathrooms.
“One of the most important advantages of the new clinic is the ability to provide most of the healthcare services a patient needs in one place. This allows for a more consistent organization of their journey from the first consultation to treatment and recovery,” says L. Penikienė.

Currently, more than 400 employees work at the Kaunas Diagnostics and Surgery Clinic Meliva, and the team is planned to expand to 500 specialists in the near future.

InSense Clinic also moved together
The building also houses the dermatology and plastic surgery clinic InSense Clinic, which belongs to the same group of companies. According to L. Penikienė, this decision was made to integrate aesthetic medicine services into the overall treatment system.
“Aesthetic medicine is a healthcare field that requires an integrated approach and collaboration among different specialists. The location of InSense Clinic in the same building allows patients to receive plastic surgery, dermatology, and other necessary healthcare services in one place. The clinic has created infrastructure adapted to modern aesthetic medicine, enabling the combination of surgical and non-surgical treatment solutions. The team of specialists will soon expand, with new plastic and reconstructive surgeons and dermatologists joining,” emphasizes L. Penikienė.
The clinic is conveniently accessible by both public transport and car. There is a spacious, free parking lot for patients next to the building, and nearby public transport stops ensure convenient connections for residents of Kaunas and patients coming from other cities.
