“If you look at these records, they are impressive,” said Dr. Oz at the White House press conference, widely known as “Dr. Oz” from his television show that has been running for more than a decade.
“Such an amount of energy and such mental sharpness does not appear in a vacuum. It requires having a body, and the president has a unique ability to just keep moving forward at any time of day, showing extraordinary strength,” he said.
Turning 80 on June 14, D. Trump is the oldest person ever to become U.S. president. The doctor’s report released last week states that his health is “excellent,” but he should lose weight.
Dr. Oz dismissed questions about why D. Trump underwent three so-called annual exams in the past year compared to his predecessor Joe Biden’s one exam per year.
“I truly believe he is curious to make sure everything is going in the right direction,” said Dr. Oz, adding that D. Trump is “meticulous.”
Issues such as bruises on D. Trump’s hand, swollen ankles, cardiovascular condition, and drowsiness in some meetings have raised additional questions about his health.
