Viewers can expect acrobatic flights, parachutist performances, airplane, car and motorcycle shows, live music, and the evening aviation program “Twilight,” the municipality reported.
According to it, one of the main highlights of this year’s event is the growing interest of aviators. Last year, more than 80 aircraft could be seen at the Nida aerodrome, and this year the organizers expect to have more than 100.
“We strive for ‘Aero Nida’ to grow every year and offer more and more impressions, so even visitors coming to the festival not for the first time will have something to be surprised by this year. We are also very pleased with the growing interest of aviators,” said Kristina Zaronskytė, director of the Nida aeroclub and one of the event organizers.
The festival program includes various acrobatic flying performances. The acrobatic group ANBO, Polish pilot Arturas Kielakas, and “Iron Wolf Aerobatics” pilot Igoris Lobanovas will perform in the Nida sky.
The latter’s performance will stand out because the acrobatic flight will be combined with live music.

The “Skyhackers” team has prepared three different performances for the festival in Nida – removing the airplane wheel, lifting a parachutist from a moving car, and a joint airplane, motorcycle, and car show.
Another unusual moment awaits on the aerodrome runway. The “Bentley Continental GT S” will compete with a flying airplane – viewers will be able to watch a speed duel between the car on the ground and the aircraft in the air.
In the Nida sky, it will also be possible to see the Lithuanian Armed Forces helicopter AS365 N3+ “Dauphin,” the jet “Eclipse 500,” and other aircraft.

The festive day program will be complemented by musical performances.
