The body of priest Vytautas Kurtinaitis will be laid out and visited on September 11, Friday, from 12:00 to 17:45 at the funeral home of the Šiauliai Parish of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary. On the same evening, before the 18:00 Mass, the earthly remains will be transferred to the Šiauliai Parish of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary church. Masses will be offered for the deceased. After them, a prayer vigil will continue until 21:00.

On Saturday, September 12, the farewell with priest Vytautas’ remains in the church will take place from 11:00 to 12:00.
At 12:00 Mass will be offered, after which the earthly remains will be escorted to the St. Anne Church in Skaruliai.
At 16:00 Mass will be offered at the St. Anne Church in Skaruliai and the earthly remains of priest Vytautas will be buried in the Skaruliai cemetery near the church, next to his parents.
“Priest Vytautas Kurtinaitis was born in 1960 in the village of Skaruliai, Jonava district. Priest Vytautas Kurtinaitis was a lively-tempered, sincere, and cheerful clergyman, able to easily connect with people of various ages and fates.
He especially cherished the sanctuary of the Mother of God in Šiluva, so whenever possible, he tried to visit and pray there on the 13th of each month.
