“With glued eyelashes sitting, barely lifting those eyelashes and then everything gets mixed up, where eyelashes should be on the red carpet, they are sitting in the cashier with them… On the other hand, you can’t blame them, maybe their lifelong dream is to look at pictures and where else can she go according to her education? She can only sit at that cashier with glued eyelashes and imagine that she is a star, this is a person’s choice, but still… It’s strange that it got mixed up like this, the saleswoman wants to be an actress, and the actress wants to hide and not wear makeup at all,” J. Statkevičius said earlier.
Representatives of the retail chain “Maxima” responded to such words from the designer. The head of communications with the media, Ernesta Vareikytė, emphasized to the Žmonės.lt portal that the company does not tolerate disrespect towards its employees.
“Every person, regardless of their job or appearance, deserves respectful communication. Demeaning statements about our colleagues are not acceptable to us,” E. Vareikytė said in a comment sent to Žmonės.lt.
However, seeing such a response from the retail chain, J. Statkevičius did not hold back – he fired back.
“I can only laugh. The cashiers got angry, imagine, a revolution. I can provide evidence – we will all laugh together. What is allowed in Hollywood is not allowed at the cashier – this is a fact. Don’t make people laugh. Don’t drag out the intestines, what was said 5 years ago – I’m not interested in either the cashiers or Maxima, goodbye,” the portal tv3.lt quotes J. Statkevičius.
“Don’t bother me,” he added.
