In this criminal case, charges have been brought against 12 defendants, including two legal entities – driving schools UAB „Autotodis“ and UAB „Vairuolis“. Among the defendants is also the owner and manager of these companies, Tadas Šilinskas.

The scale of the case was revealed in the courtroom by two boxes of case materials placed on the judge’s table. Some witnesses joined the hearing remotely, and one of them – directly from a truck cabin.
Attempted to remove the prosecutor
The first two hearings scheduled in this case did not take place because not all necessary participants appeared in court. This time, all required persons were gathered, but just as the hearing began, T. Šilinskas’s defender Jolanta Grigaliūnienė filed a motion to disqualify prosecutor A. Mirnyj.

The defender also raised the issue of returning the indictment to the prosecution.
