In the confrontation with VEF, the Vilnius team was still trailing 58:68 after three quarters, but managed to secure a victory after an impressive 28:10 winning final quarter.
This time “Rytas” already had players returning from the Lithuanian and German national teams – Gytis Radzevičius, Augustas Marčiulionis, Matas Jogėla, and Kay Bruhnke.
The only player in the Vilnius team who had not yet played was Ricky Lindo from the Panama national team, who arrived in Lithuania just a few days ago.
The top scorers for “Rytas” were the legionnaires: Michael Devoe scored 17, Cassius Winston – 16, K. Bruhnke – 10 points.
