“The first quarter was somewhat disappointing, but in the second quarter very strong growth was recorded again – returning to a path of strong growth. This happened largely due to the pension reform and increased consumption caused by the withdrawal of pension funds. This temporarily stimulates the economy, especially this year and particularly in the second and third quarters of this year, when we will see the greatest impact due to the withdrawal of pension fund assets,” the economist said during a remote forecast presentation on Tuesday.
