The new route will be operated by modern Airbus A321neo aircraft. This destination further expands Wizz Air’s route network in Lithuania and provides travelers with a new affordable direct connection to one of the most popular Central European destinations.

The launch of the Vilnius–Prague route coincides with a significant expansion of Wizz Air’s capacity in Lithuania. This summer season, the airline offered 1 million seats to the market – 72% more than last summer. The total annual number of seats offered by Wizz Air in the Lithuanian market reached 1.7 million, a 61% increase compared to last year.
Since starting operations in Lithuania in 2005, Wizz Air has flown more than 14.2 million passengers to and from the country. By launching flights on the Vilnius–Prague route, the airline offers Lithuanian passengers 26 routes to 19 countries and continues to strengthen its long-term position in the country’s market.
