At the upcoming event, visitors will be able to get acquainted with communities from several dozen countries, taste their cuisine dishes, learn words in various languages, try traditional dances, crafts, and games.

“Vilnius is a city where different experiences constantly meet. We want this meeting at the festival to be as simple and natural as possible. Therefore, we invite people not to just observe each other from the sidelines, but to sit together at a common table. Through food, language, music, movement, and shared activities, it is very easy to quickly discover what unites us,” said Indrė Laučienė, head of the Foreign Talents Department at the Vilnius City Business and Tourism Development Agency “Go Vilnius.”
Event participants will be able to get to know the cultures of Azerbaijan, India, Persia, Ukraine, the Philippines, Colombia, and other countries.
“Those who want more movement will be able to learn Latin American and Tatar dances, as well as try the traditional ‘Tinikling’ dance, which the Philippine community will invite to join. They also promise to present a replica of the traditional Philippine transport vehicle, the jeepney, in Bernardinai Garden, which will become a unique photo backdrop. Meanwhile, the Colombian community will offer to sit in a barber’s chair and beautify yourself in Colombian style,” the organizers’ statement said.
The festival will also feature a Language Meadow, where visitors can learn various languages through games and short practical tasks.

Creative and educational activities will be offered for families, and workshops for children to create animated characters. A physical activity session with Vilnius “Rytas” coaches and youth team basketball players is also planned.
The program will be complemented by musical performances by the Vilnius International Choir “Garfunkels,” the indie folk group “Kūjeliai,” and the Vilnius University folklore ensemble “Ratilio.”
During the festival, the “Vilnius Is My City Awards” will also be presented for the first time. These awards will recognize foreigners living in Vilnius who contribute to the city’s business, culture, gastronomy, and global recognition through their activities.
According to the organizers, about 78 thousand foreign citizens from 154 countries currently live in Vilnius.
