O. Gasanovas did not hide that he felt responsible before the concert – conversations with children require sensitivity and preparation.
“Before the concert, I was a little afraid – it is a big responsibility. Talking to children who call to share what matters to them or hurts is very serious. One conversation stuck with me especially – a boy called, and we talked about bullying. Listening, I realized he was telling a story similar to mine: he is of dark complexion and experiences bullying because of it. Such topics are not somewhere far away – they are very real and relevant to many children. Therefore, it is very important to have a place where children can talk safely, be heard, and not judged,” shared O. Gasanovas during the live broadcast.
Goda Problema reminded that the Children’s Line can be important not only in crisis moments but also when you just want to talk. She said she herself called the Children’s Line in her childhood.
“I have called the Children’s Line myself. Not because of something very dramatic – sometimes I just felt lonely and wanted to talk. It was very good to be simply heard. Sometimes it’s easier to tell what weighs on you to someone who doesn’t know you – then there is less fear of being judged,” said Goda Problema.
According to her, some of the calls received during the concert were bright and positive – children wanted to share not only difficulties but also their joys.
“Tonight I also received very beautiful, positive calls: children shared their joys, successes, wanted to talk. This is also very important – that the Children’s Line can be a place not only for difficult moments but also for a simple sincere conversation,” shared Goda Problema.

The concert was hosted by Rolandas Mackevičius, Eglė Jurgaitytė, Akvilė Knyguolis, and Matilda Kubiliūtė. On stage appeared Paulina Paukštaitytė, Vidas Bareikis, Ieva Narkutė, „8 Kambarys“, „The Roop“, Silvester Belt, „Biplan“, „Lemon Joy“, Norbertas, Inga Jankauskaitė, Justas Pečeliūnas, and the Panevėžys „Purpurinis“ choir.
“I have no doubt that people took away more from this evening than just humming a favorite song, but also remembered how important it is to sincerely care about the people around you. Even a simple question ‘how do you really feel?’ can mean much more to a person than we imagine,” shared one of the concert hosts, A. Knyguolis, after the concert.

Children’s Line receives more than 260 contacts daily
It was repeatedly reminded during the concert that the Children’s Line receives more than 260 contacts from children and adolescents daily. These are calls and messages from children who need a safe place to talk about what matters, hurts, or causes anxiety.
According to the director of the Children’s Line, Robertas Povilaičio, the concert became an opportunity to talk about children’s emotional well-being not through sadness, but through music, community, and live engagement. However, behind this message lies the very concrete work of the Children’s Line – to answer children daily who often remain alone with their difficulties.
“Heavy thoughts sometimes become a stone that a child carries alone. But when there is a person who listens without judgment, that burden at least lightens a little. Not all children have someone to talk to about what weighs on them. The Children’s Line is that safe place where you can talk, be heard, and no longer be alone with your feelings,” said R. Povilaičio during the concert.
The Children’s Line reminds that children and adolescents who want to talk can call the free helpline 116 111 or contact online. Those who have not yet supported the Children’s Line can still do so by calling the short number 1497. The support amount is 5 euros.
