The old, distorted reinforced concrete retaining walls will be completely dismantled, and in their place, craftsmen will form natural compositions of outdoor stones and boulders with greenery inserts. These solutions will allow the new walls to simply dissolve into the coastal landscape and look as natural as possible.

During the works, other environmental elements will also be arranged: road and lawn curbs, the height of manholes adjusted to the new surface level, and fresh grass sown, while the old lighting will be replaced by new fixtures emitting cozy light.
The issue of rainwater will be addressed by forming precise surface slopes in places where there are no rainwater drainage networks.
The project will be implemented by the company “Budrių statyba,” and the total contract value amounts to 327 thousand euros. Although the works are planned to be completed by the end of this year and traffic may be temporarily restricted during the works, residents and vacationers will be left with a convenient and safe passage to the sea.
