“Economic forecasts indicate that inflation will continue to rise, seasonal household expenses will increase in autumn and winter, but not everyone has recently felt positive income changes. According to IKEA data, in Lithuania the average household spends the most among the Baltic countries on furniture and home accessories renewal or new purchases per year – about 680 euros.
Moreover, according to I. Adamaite, Lithuania has recently recorded a record supply of new apartments, as well as a reduced down payment amount for those taking a loan to purchase their first home – this should have a positive impact on the growth of demand for home furnishing solutions in the future.

From September, buyers in Lithuania and other Baltic countries will be able to purchase over 1,000 various products at a lower price: from furniture for home furnishing to smaller home interior solutions and accessories, in many product categories intended for bedrooms, living rooms, children’s rooms, bathrooms, kitchens.
Currently, there are 9 IKEA retail locations operating in Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia, employing more than 1,600 employees. Last year in Estonia, in the city of Pärnu, IKEA introduced an innovation – a small-format store, and in March this year, such a store opened its doors in Lithuania, in the city of Klaipėda, transforming the previously operating product ordering and pickup point.
