New album presentations, returns after long creative breaks, and the power of live music await. Some concerts are the only ones in the Baltic countries. Many music lovers from neighboring countries will also attend these concerts.
The first, already on September 2, at Kablys will be the cult trip-hop figure Tricky. He is one of the most important voices of the Bristol underground and a pioneer of trip-hop. Tricky began his career with Massive Attack and gained great fame in 1995 with the release of the album Maxinquaye, which was nominated for the prestigious Mercury Prize.
Even after more than three decades, Tricky remains unpredictable and instead of seeking the spotlight, he often retreats into the shadows on stage and lets the music speak for itself. Tricky’s live performances resemble a performance art piece.
This performance will be opened by Tricky’s longtime creative partner, Polish vocalist Marta Złakowska. “It is the artist’s duty to present other creators,” says Tricky.

In 2022, Sleaford Mods performed at a festival in the capital and returned with a full-length concert just a year later. On October 30, Sleaford Mods will check how Kablys is holding up. For more than fifteen years, Sleaford Mods have remained one of the most prominent post-punk names. The combination of minimal electronics and maximally accurate insights about money, foolish politicians, and social injustice has become a kind of creative manifesto for an entire generation of artists.
In Vilnius, Sleaford Mods will present their new album The Demise of Planet X about the end of the world. An important detail – one euro from each ticket sold for the Sleaford Mods concert in the capital will go to War Child UK. This organization protects and defends the rights of children living in war and conflict conditions. This has been the choice of Sleaford Mods themselves for several years in a row.
