According to reports, a large-scale fire broke out in the town of Koltushi, near the agricultural company “Vyborzhets”. The smoke columns rising from it are so thick that they are visible from anywhere in the city.

Local residents claimed that before the flames appeared, they heard a powerful explosion.
Preliminary data indicates that no one was injured in this incident. Rescue services are working at the scene. Efforts are currently underway to determine the causes of the explosion and fire.

Earlier on Tuesday, the governor of the Leningrad region reported that Russian air defense forces allegedly shot down 52 Ukrainian drones, and added that the Ust-Luga port was damaged.
When the explosion thundered in Koltushi, no new attacks on the region were reported, so the true cause of the incident remains unclear.
