„The old beast has not gone anywhere. Russia’s aggression, its unchecked imperial ambitions, the desire to destroy the international order continue to challenge us and our hard-won freedom,“ said the head of state at the commemoration held in Vilnius’ Lukiškės Square.
According to him, the Kremlin continues its aggression against the heroic Ukrainian nation and continues to pose a direct threat to Lithuania and other freedom-loving European countries.
