D. Gjergja stated that “there were some issues,” but “the team should remain focused solely on the game.”
“We need to focus on the game because we will face a really strong opponent. There have been some changes in their lineup. They probably want to give younger players a chance, so the game against Turkey may not fully reflect reality. This is a respected basketball country that will definitely give their all on their home court,” the coach told Sport Centar.
D. Gjergja believes that about 10-12 thousand spectators will watch the game in the arena, which will cause additional problems for the Bosnians.
“We have to concentrate despite all the problems we face, and now, of course, also because we cannot train properly. I hope all the equipment and bags will be delivered,” said D. Gjergja.
“We must be focused and not think about anything else but what we have to do on the court. Then, I think, we will be able to compete with everyone,” added the coach of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team.
