Rescue operations in the country have been ongoing for the fifth day.
Chinese state media earlier confirmed that 16 people died and 546 are missing following the disaster in Tibet on Wednesday.

The total number of victims has risen to 750 dead and 3044 missing.
The number of missing in Nepal has increased compared to the 2426 people included in the updated list released on Saturday evening.
This list includes 589 foreigners; previous reports indicated that contact was lost with 517 people.
According to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority, among the missing are also 933 hydropower project workers who were working on the river where the rapid current occurred.

The disaster management authority stated that rescue teams have saved a total of 8186 people, including 227 foreigners.
Indian officials reported recovering seven bodies from rivers flowing from Nepal, believed to be flood victims. However, these numbers are not included in the overall statistics.
